X Factor's SeSe Foster denies pregnancy caused collapse
Miss Dynamix singer insists it was anxiety attack that put her in hospital
Miss Dynamix star SeSe Foster has reacted angrily to suggestions that it was her pregnancy that made her collapse – and forced her group to pull out of Saturday's X Factor show.
SeSe, 22, who is about six months pregnant, says her collapse was due to an anxiety attack, and she actually "begged" paramedics to let her stay and perform, rather than take her to the ambulance.
Speaking from the hospital, she said: “In case some of you have misunderstood, it was nothing to do with me being pregnant.
“I had an anxiety attack and it’s happened a lot in my life. My baby’s fine, the heart rate is lovely. I just need to calm my nerves before performing.”
An X Factor spokesperson added, “SeSe felt unwell prior to the dress rehearsal and so, as a precaution and because she is pregnant, she was taken to hospital. As she was taking the lead vocal, it was too late to re-work the performance as a duo, and therefore Miss Dynamix will be given a bye through to next week.”
The band later tweeted: “Morning Dynamizers. Thank u for all ur supportive messages. We’re coming back fighting next week!”
