We discovered the Amadeus 360 cup when a child of a friend had one. Its revolutionary design is brilliant for encouraging “grown up” drinking.
The Amadeus 360 looks like an ordinary cup, but don’t be deceived. It has a sealed top with a circular valve running all the way around which allows your child to drink from anywhere around the rim. Once you tip the cup up, the seal breaks and the drink ends up where it should! This encourages your child to drink from the edge of a cup like a grown-up whilst protecting your furniture from spills.
What we love
My daughter Biba loves this cup, probably because it is bright pink! It also comes in a bright blue and you can purchase it with handles or without. I have taken it in my handbag and it has not spilt a drop and indeed, since buying mine I have bought three more for friends who love it! It is great to find such a unique product on the market ,which works as well as the Amadeus 360 cup. It is made using SteriTouch which can reduce harmful bacteria such as e-coli and MRSA by 99.99% within 24 hours. This means it will remain cleaner between washes. It is really easy to clean and comes with a lid for transporting.
What to watch out for
It is quite a large vessel, which Biba used to struggle holding although it is now available with handles, which I think would been better for a younger child. Don’t fill it up too much as due to it being so large, it gets quite heavy.
Who is the Amadeus 360 cup best for?
Mums and babies who want to add a bit of style to mealtimes without the mess.
This is a real winner for both for mums and toddlers. It is a fun way to encourage your child to develop their skills. The cup itself works well. I can see this taking over from the traditional beaker with a spout.
