Made by the creators of the well-loved baby carriers, the Safe Step is one of Baby Bjorn’s best-sellers in the UK. More expensive than most steps, it was given a face-lift in 2005. The Safe Step has rubber top, making little feet secure, yet is strong enough to take the weight of an adult. The unique rubber edge around the bottom prevents it from slipping. The Safe Step is also free from PVC and recyclable, for the green-minded mums among us.
What we love
Stylish and smart, I adore the different colour-ways, especially the contrasting mat on the Step. The non-slip feature is fantastic – Peter has been secure standing on the Step since he started cruising. The Step is light enough for your child to move by himself between sink and toilet. I also use the Step myself to reach things around the house. After a year, it's still in perfect condition.
What to watch out for
Larger than other steps available, but this is to accommodate the design. It's also a bit more expensive than other similar products.
