First impressions?
It is beautiful. I really love the look of it. It is a modern and stylish looking swing that would look good in anyone's home. It offers a good combination of movements - a 360 degree rotational arm that holds the seat, and even an adjustable mobile with three cute toys that dangle above baby's head.
I have used the swing for a short period of time, but as fantastic as it looks, my baby is not a fan. I don't think the swing is to blame, more the fact that she just doesn't seem to enjoy swinging. I wonder if she's too small for it, even thought it's suitable from birth up to 9kg. We did try it in the very early months.
Is it compact?
Unfortunately not. It is a large item; especially the floor frame, which is very wide. And although it’s very flat, I still found it cumbersome. This is maybe because of the swing’s weight. It was impossible to move it, especially on the carpet.
It is great product if you have a nice baby area in your lounge where there is enough space for the frame as well as movement of the seat.

Any other things to be aware of?
If you're looking for a product that offers similar features to a bouncer, the Babymoov Swoon Motion Swing may not be for you. You can’t just grab it and move it around the house, so you would need one more thing in the house alongside this. For me that's not possible in my tiny London flat.
There's also a mini USB cable and socket. I am not sure what exactly happened but one day I wasn’t able to put the swing into move mode and it wouldn't play any music. I suspect it may have been put in the wrong way, as there is a correct way of putting it in. However, I received excellent customer service from Babymoov and they sent a replacement straightaway, as they offer a lifetime guarantee for the product.
Baby Bouncers, Swings and Rockers - what types are there?
What’s in the box?
1 x swing
1 x baby arch with toys
Is it easy or hard to build the product?
It is easy. Some parts do need assembling but it takes no more than 20 minutes. Just make sure you have a screwdriver to hand as there are two screws that go in the base.
What would you have wanted to know before you purchased the item?
How big and heavy it is. It's just too large for a small space.
Who would the swing be most useful for?
Parents who love a stylish product and have the space in their rooms to show it off. And parents who have babies that love the rocking motion of a swing.
Is the product value for money?
It is quite expensive, but fortunately it looks it too - so if you want accessories that look the part - this is the swing for you. There are a lot of functions such as 5 swinging speeds, 3 recline positions, 8 melodies, a motion detector and more, which some could say justify the expense.
The 4 x 9V batteries you need should really have been included in the price considering the swing retails at £169.99 - but that's just my opinion.
Available to buy at Babymoov, Toys R Us, Kidly and other retailers
Is there anything unique about this product?
I have no experience with other swings so it's hard to tell, but it looks good and I can imagine that any baby who likes swinging would be very happy in there.

It is a lovely product and maybe a great gift for someone who has everything. It is not essential and for savvy people like me, a little extravagant. You will also need to bear in mind space issues, as the online imagery does not reflect the true nature of its size.
The choice of sounds and swing movements are a real plus, but it isn't the swing for me due to limited space in my home, and the fact that my baby doesn't seem to like the motion...
