What is a travel system bundle?
A bundle is typically a set comprising a pushchair, a carrycot or bassinet, a car seat and the relevant base and / or adapters, offering all items you need to travel with your baby in one package. Bundles are generally great value and will often include nice extras like a matching changing bag, raincovers, cup holders and more.
Why buy a bundle?
There are several advantages to buying a bundle. Firstly, you know for sure that all items are compatible with each other, as they’re all from the same brand and have been packaged together specifically because they complement each other. The fabrics will all match, which makes the whole set look smart and stylish. Perhaps best of all you’ll save some money, as bundles offer great value compared to buying items individually.

What to look for in a travel system / pushchair bundle
Carrycot – If the bundle includes a carrycot for newborns, check if it can be used for safe overnight sleeping as this could save you having to buy a crib or travel cot. If space is at a premium, you may prefer to choose a pushchair with a seat that transforms into a bassinet instead.
Pushchair design – A small, lightweight pushchair is ideal if you’re short on space, and will enable you to hop on and off buses and trains with ease. If, however, you’ll mostly be walking over rough ground, you might decide to buy an all-terrain or more rugged pushchair.
Seat safety – Medical advice strongly suggests that your baby should lie completely flat for the first months and although most of these pushchairs have seats that are advertised for use from birth, some recline at 150° rather than the totally flat 180°. In these cases, opting for a bundle with a separate carrycot may be preferable.
Car seat – Some car seats can be secured using the car’s seat belt, but this can be fiddly, so make sure you read the instructions carefully to ensure it’s fitted safely. An ISOFIX base is often easier to fit correctly and can be left in the car, meaning that it’s quicker and easier to put your baby safely in the car for each journey.
True value - Prices of bundles vary wildly, and we have included bundles from as little as £189 up to £1400 in our list. Generally, the higher prices denote higher quality pushchairs that may feel more sturdy and have more features, but it’s also important to check what’s included in the bundles and really think about whether you would use all the accessories. Sometimes the prices are bumped up with extras that are not necessary for all families.
Are there any downsides to buying a bundle?
Since you can’t mix and match, you may have to compromise on some items. Your dream pushchair might come with a car seat that’s not ideal, such as a first stage seat that won’t fit your child for as long as other models. Also, it’s worth noting that some manufacturers use these bundles to sell slightly older car seat models, but that’s only really a concern if you are interested in a specific feature from a newer style.
What do you need to know before buying a travel system bundle?
The most important thing to check is whether the car seat will fit your car. This will, in turn, influence the pushchair you can buy. Before buying anything at all, research which car seats are compatible with your car and go from there. The product description or manufacturer’s website should have this information.
Please note that the weight given for the pushchairs is for the chassis plus the seat unit. At MadeForMums we have also reviewed many of the pushchairs mentioned, so take a moment to read the full reviews for further insight.
How did we choose our 10 of the Best?
Our 10 of the Best lists are compiled by qualified and experienced parenting journalists. They rely on a number of sources, including our independent reviews, testing undertaken during the MadeForMums Awards, and feedback from our home testing panel and Top Testers Club. Each year thousands of products are put through their paces by hundreds of parents across the country on behalf of MadeForMums, to ensure we’re bringing you honest and true reviews and recommendations.
To collate this list of best travel system bundles, we spoke to our hand-picked panel of Made For Mums home testers to find out which travel systems they use and why they love them.
When selecting travel system bundles we look at value for money, amount of useful items included and quality, safety and longevity.
Our list is not an ordered ranking from 1-10, instead it is a carefully selected group of tried-and-tested products, each of which we believe is best for a different situation or requirement. We don’t just tell you what is best, we help you discover what is best for your family.
Here's our pick of the best travel system bundles...
1. Kinderkraft XMOOV 3 in 1, £339.95
Best for smart style on a budget
Bundle includes: Pushchair, carrycot, car seat, raincover, footmuff, mosquito net, changing maternity stroller bag, Joie travel cot, Chicco baby carrier and Chicco Pocket Snack booster seat
Suitable for: birth to 22 kg | Pushchair weight: 17.5kg | Carrycot included: Yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 3.4kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included: yes | Other accessories included: yes
This pushchair bundle looks more premium than its price would suggest and it has a seat unit that doubles as a bassinet, meaning you have less gear to store. It’s a great does-it-all set for families on a budget. Our tester Jodie said: “I highly recommend this product and wish I had purchased it for my first child, rather than spending five times the price on a different model.”
The pushchair seat has 3 recline positions and it can face the parent or the world. The chassis features all-round suspension and large, inflatable wheels for a comfortable ride over even bumpy ground. As Jodie remarks: “I’m very impressed with how sturdy it is. I could push it easily up kerbs, on grass and on my gravel driveway. It was easy to change direction and I felt confident manoeuvring it with ease.” It’s lightweight and easy to fold.
The Mink car seat can be snapped onto the pushchair chassis using the adapters included in the bundle, and it’s easy to remove to transfer it to the car. “It wasn’t fiddly at all and very straightforward,” says Jodie. It fits rearward facing, using the car’s seat belt and can be used up to 13kg (around 2 years).
Thus bundle also features a travel cot and booster seat.

2. Cosatto Giggle Quad, £899.95
– Best for statement style
Bundle includes: Pushchair chassis, wheels and basket, carrycot with multi hood and apron, carrycot mattress, seat unit, chest pads, crotch pad, bumper bar, rain cover, travel companion toy, RAC port i-size car seat, adaptors, i-size base, changing bag and footmuff

Cosatto is known for its eye-catching fabrics and you will really stand out with this travel system. The Giggle Quad is a sturdy four-wheeler and tester Alex comments: “The buggy felt solid and good quality – a premium product,” although she was concerned the seat unit was a little hard. It will hold kids up to 20kg (over 4 years) though Alex says: “the 90cm-long seat unit was too short for my 17kg son to sit in truly comfortably and he has only just turned three.”
Our tester found this pushchair easy to manoeuvre, saying “I could comfortably push the Giggle Quad with one hand.” It’s also easy to fold and collapses with the seat unit attached, although Alex does comment that it’s not ideal for using on public transport as it’s not as compact as some pushchairs.
The car seat is made with safety experts the RAC and comes with both adapters to snap it onto your pushchair frame and a handy ISOFIX base. Alex reports: “The seat clicks on fairly smoothly. I did find lining it up with the adaptor slots a little jerky to start, but I soon got used to it.” It grows to fit your baby with a one-handed adjustment and has 3 recline positions when used with the base.
MFM home tester Charlie, mum of 3 year old son and 18 month old daughter said, "we loved the patterns and how many there were to choose from. We also loved that the travel system all matched including the nappy bag. It was great for being really versatile too. It was easy to adjust for our child as they got older". She also commented, how when she had an issue Cosatto were good at helping her get it fixed. However, she did say "it's very bulky and not possible to fit in a small boot with a food shop". This is helpful to know if you have a small car.

3. Venicci Tinum, £829
– Best for a contemporary, urban look
Bundle includes: Pushchair chassis, seat unit, raincover, mosquito net, apron, footmuff (made from attaching the carrycot insert to the pram cover); carrycot, with raincover and mosquito net; i-Size car seat and base, plus adapters; changing bag
Suitable for: birth to 22kg | Pushchair weight: 11.6kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes to 13kg| Car seat weight: 3.kg | Car seat base included: yes | Changing bag included: yes
This sleek and stylish bundle has all you need for travel with a baby, plus plenty of extra accessories. The Tinum has a chassis in lightweight aluminium and comes with a generous carrycot to use from birth, which clicks easily onto the chassis. It also has a backrest you can raise (great for babies with colic or reflux) but it’s not suitable for overnight sleeping. Tester Maxine adds: “The netting incorporated within the hood was a nice feature, for more fresh air to breath in and for my daughter to enjoy her surroundings more.”
It’s easy to swap between seat, carrycot and car seat on this pushchair, as all parts that ‘move’ are colour coded, and it also has a simple fold. Maxine says: “I was genuinely surprised how easy it was when I first folded it down and loved the way the handle is incorporated in the folding down mechanism.”
The wheels are large for a smooth ride and it has really good suspension. Maxine commented: “The best part of the pram is being able to steer it pretty easily with one hand” The car seat is light, compact and easy to use too. Maxine says: “The ISOFIX safety feature is a great touch; it shows you if you have the seat correctly clicked into the ISOFIX points with a tick.” To complete the bundle, you get a smart bag with a changing mat, and it’s nice to have a mosquito net in addition to the raincover and also a warm footmuff.
MFM home tester Lorne, mum of 2 liked that the pram was durable and that it lasted her so well. "The pram has a lot of room for baby and the suspension system is absolutely brilliant, making it so smooth over any kind of terrain when out and about. It's also lightweight, making it very easy to manoeuvre and it's swivel wheels help when going round tight places in shops", says Lorne. She also loved how straightforward it was to switch from carrycot to pushchair.
However, Lorne did mention that folding the pram down can be a bit awkward at times as the front 2 wheels need to be sitting in a certain position facing forwards otherwise it won't fold.

4. Hauck Pacific 4 Shop n Drive, £199.99
– Best for easy storage
Bundle includes: Chassis and seat unit that becomes bassinet, footmuff, raincover; car seat
Suitable for: birth to 25kg | Carrycot included: no, seat unit converts to bassinet | Car seat included: yes | Car seat weight: 3.kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included: no | Other accessories included: yes
This pushchair is really lightweight and though it’s such a budget price for a bundle, you get a really good deal; a seat that converts into a cosy bassinet, and a first stage car seat too - plus a raincover and footmuff (which is the apron and seat liner zipped together).
The chassis has good-sized wheels for a smooth ride and front swivel wheels that make steering easy and there’s even suspension on the front wheels to glide over the bumps of city streets. It has a really generous shopping basket to store all your baby gear and the pushchair can be folded using just one hand – ideal when you’re holding your baby in the other arm!
The from-birth car seat clicks straight onto the chassis to create a smart travel system and it has good side impact protection and a hood to protect your baby from sun and wind. Though you don’t get extras like a car seat base, this is a great bundle for parents on a budget and Hauck offers a changing bag you could buy to complete the look, plus lots of other accessories.
Available from: Uber Kids and Amazon
5. Ickle Bubba Stomp, £499.95
– Best for an easy fold
Bundle includes: Pushchair, raincover, carrycot, car seat (with adaptors), isofix car seat base, footmuff, car seat window sun visors, changing bag with changing mat, Chicco Pocket Snack booster seat, Joie Wish bouncer, Hauck safety pack, Koo-Di car seat sun cover and Clair De Lune changing mat
Suitable for: birth to 15kg | Pushchair weight: 13.9kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg |Car seat weight: 3.4kg | Car seat base included: yes | Changing bag included: yes | Other accessories included: yes
A really good set of extras comes with this mid-priced eye-catching pushchair with its sleek black design and tan faux-leather covered handle and bumper bar. Tester Sophie exclaimed: “I couldn’t get over how much kit was included!“
The carrycot is a good size with a softly padded liner, although not suitable for overnight sleeping. The seat unit also has good padding. Sophie commented: “The luxury seat liner and padded coverlet feel lovely and soft.” It’s easy to click the carrycot off and the reversible seat unit on to the chassis. It’s also very easy to collapse – Sophie says: “It’s genuinely the easiest fold I’ve encountered.” It has a large hood, though Sophie cautions: “The hood is disappointing – it’s made from a much coarser material than the rest of the pram and is not adjustable. It also doesn’t have any hoops for attaching toys, which would be a bonus.”
The Galaxy car seat will fit your little one up to 13kg (around 2 years) and Sophie loved how easy it was to use. “It was really easy to get my son into the seat as the straps can be moved out of the way. The moveable headrest (operated by pressing a catch on the base of the unit) was really handy for making him comfortable.” The ISOFIX base means clicking the car seat off the pushchair and into the car is easy – as Sophie says: “I loved the speed at which we could secure the seat.”
MFM home tester Leila, used this travel system with her daughter. "It was very sturdy and the carrycot attachment was helpful when we were in our flat. Overall though, despite how good it was on rough terrain, it was a nightmare for living in London." Leila warns this is not the best option if you rely on public transport and getting it on and off of a bus or train regularly.

6. Ickle Bubba Moon, £299.95
– Best lightweight option
Bundle includes: Pushchair, convertible seat unit and carrycot, astral group 0+ car seat, carrycot apron/pushchair boot cover, raincover, Joie Mimzy Snacker highchair and Joie Wish bouncer
Suitable for: birth to 3 years | Pushchair weight: 10.5kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 3.4kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included: no | Other accessories included: yes
This set is a great value bundle including special extras such as a highchair and a bouncer.
Our tester Steve says: “The Moon looked versatile, compact and extremely lightweight – in fact it weighs just 6kg (for the chassis), which I found amazing. The quality is surprisingly good considering the reasonable price.”
It’s a light chassis, which makes steering easy but is perhaps not the sturdiest. As Steve says: “The extremely lightweight aluminium frame makes manoeuvring, mounting kerbs and lifting a doddle, but I wouldn’t say that it’s particularly strong. For the price though, it’s understandable that you’re not getting the sturdiest of travel systems.” He feels that, despite its suspension and while it’s great for city streets, it’s probably not as good for off-roading or rough terrain.
The bassinet is used for the first months and then quickly transforms into a seat. Steve says: “The carrycot converts into a seat by simply fastening the strap underneath and tightening a toggle.“ This pushchair also comes with the Astral car seat, suitable to 13kg (around 2 years) and it has an adjustable headrest to increase its size as your baby grows.

7. Silver Cross Wayfarer, £699.06
– Best premium bundle
Bundle includes: Pushchair chassis with seat unit, raincover; carrycot suitable for occasional overnight sleeping, changing bag; car seat plus adapters; cup holder
Suitable for: birth to 22kg | Pushchair weight: 10kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 4kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included: yes | Other accessories included: yes
If you want the look of a luxury pram at a sensible price, the Wayfarer bundle is one of the best ways to get that gorgeous, premium look. The carrycot, suitable for overnight sleeping, is a good size with a generous hood and our tester Sarah liked its feel: “the inner lining had a gorgeous super soft finish – it’s made of a naturally antibacterial bamboo, which helps to regulate your child’s temperature, …and the mattress was safely firm and breathable.”
The chassis is sturdy and simple to use. Sarah comments: “I loved the ease of the folding mechanism for the chassis and the fact it can be folded with the seat attached in forward-facing, upright position.” However, because it’s a larger pushchair than some, Sarah warns: “the buggy is quite bulky once folded. When combined with the size of the carrycot, it only just fit in our car boot.” However, she says it is: “a delight to push and it was so easy to steer with brilliant manoeuvrability.”
The bundle includes the Simplicity car seat, suitable up to 13kg (around 2 years) and used with your car’s seat belts - if you want to use an ISOFIX base, you’ll need to buy it separately. The bag is really neat and feels premium, with a changing mat and lots of pockets inside and the cup holder is ideal for a drink while you’re out. This bundle is ideal for those wanting long walks and trips in the city and although it would handle some rougher terrain, Sarah says: “if I were constantly on public transport, I may want something more nippy.”

8. Mamas and Papas Ocarro, £1,379
– Best for the whole package
Bundle includes: Pushchair, carrycot, Heritage bear, baby blanket, Aton 5 car seat with adaptors and Isofix base, changing bag, footmuff, parasol and cup holder
Suitable for: birth to 3 years | Pushchair weight: 13.3kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 4.8kg | Car seat base included: yes | Changing bag included: yes | Other accessories included: yes
This is a stylish and comprehensive bundle that gives you a functional pushchair, a good-sized carrycot, a car seat plus lots of added extras. The carrycot is large, with plenty of protection from the elements and is suitable for occasional overnight sleeping. It has a good mattress and ventilation for warmer months, though our tester Claire was disappointed that when using the carrycot, “I couldn’t access the basket below, which is very impractical.”
The 3-position, lie-flat seat unit faces the front or the rear and Claire comments it is: “padded and there’s a plump, foam headrest. The harness is quite heavy duty, but the pads make it comfortable to wear. My baby looked very secure and happy when strapped in.” The seat also has a large hood with an air vent, which is Claire’s favourite part: “The hood … goes right back, enabling my son to see what’s going on around him. However, it also tilts forward, giving some privacy, which is nice when he’s sleeping.”
When it comes to manoeuvrability, the chassis has suspension and large wheels to make it ride smoothly over rough ground. Claire said: “Nothing fazes the Ocarro; it’s a seamless ride regardless of the terrain. It’s smooth on pavements and I was able to mount the kerb without any difficulty. I also keep the pushchair in control on uneven terrain.”
The Aton 5 car seat can be easily clipped to the chassis and transferred to the car, where you secure it with the car’s seat belt, or with the ISOFIX base that’s included. Other items in this great bundle are a smart bag with lots of interior pockets and a changing mat, a nicely padded footmuff to keep your little one warm and a cup holder for that essential morning coffee!
MFM home tester Katie used the Ocarro with her daughter. "We used the travel system loads and loved the Ocarro! We used it from the day she left hospital until she was too long to fit in the pram seat. Some of my family are 6ft + and found the handle bar adjusting very helpful. The fabric was durable and also kept the rain off better than we expected for a soft fabric. The wheels were ideal for many walks we went on across different terrain. The car seat and bassinet both slotted onto the frame with ease."

9. Silver Cross Wave 2020, £1,420
– Best for multiple children
Bundle includes: Pushchair chassis, reversible pushchair seat unit hood, carrycot with hood and apron, pushchair seat liner, tandem adaptors, 2 bumper bars, shopping basket, 2 mosquito nets, 2 raincovers, changing bag, footmuff, car seat and adaptors
Suitable for: birth to 25kg | Pushchair weight: 13.5kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 4kg | Car seat base included: yes | Changing bag included: no | Other accessories included: yes
A truly high-end and luxurious bundle with the multi-functional Wave pushchair at its heart. This elegant pushchair is a single-to-double model and can be adapted to hold 2 children, whether they are twins or siblings of different ages. It arrives with both seat unit and carrycot, so you can push a baby and a toddler at the same time. Simply add the car seat for a travel system or buy additional carrycots and seat units as you need them.
The carrycot is lined with Silver Cross’ antibacterial bamboo fabric and our tester Annie Says: “The mattress is firm and the best feature is that it can be used for overnight sleeping, which is very handy.” You can even buy an additional stand to use the carrycot as a crib. Annie comments: “While it’s meant to last for six months or until your baby can sit up, as Miriam is tall, we may not make it past five.”
The seat unit has a clever elevated seat position that means you and your baby can have great eye contact together. The basket is a generous size and the chassis is made from magnesium alloy, meaning that although it’s fairly light for its size, it’s strong, which is what you need from a pushchair that might be required to carry two large toddlers! Folding is simple, as Annie explains: “it does need two hands – once you’ve removed the seats you simply press down on two buttons on the frame and it collapses and automatically locks itself into the safety lock.”
The bundle includes the Simplicity car seat, which comes with both adaptors to click it onto the chassis and an ISOFIX base for secure fixing into your car.

10. My Babiie MB200+ Billie Faiers Collection, £299.95
– Best for style on a budget
Bundle includes: pushchair chassis and seat, raincover, apron; carrycot; car seat, cup holder
Suitable for: birth to 22kg | Pushchair weight: 17.9kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 4kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included: no | Other accessories included: yes
For those who want to have a fashion-forward pram that’s TOWIE approved, this neat little bundle offers a functional pushchair plus a separate carrycot and car seat for a decent price. It has a rose gold chassis and pink fabric, which some will love.
The carrycot sits in the chassis parent-facing and has an integral handle and protective hood. It clicks easily onto the chassis and can be used up to 9kg (around 9 months). It is also suitable for overnight sleeping (with the hood and apron removed). The seat unit is forward facing only but does have a lie-flat recline.
The seat is quite tricky to add to the frame – no simple click-on parts here, as you have to attach the seat fabric first using poppers and Velcro and then add the hood and bumper bar. However, you only need to do this once when changing to the seat, so it’s not a huge problem and the raincover and apron for the seat are included too. The pushchair frame folds easily too – just pull the two catches on the handlebar and it folds forwards and down and locks together.
The car seat is a Group 0+ that will hold your little one up to 13kg (around 2 years). There is a matching changing bag available, which you would have to buy separately.
