Blueberry One Size Pocket Nappy review

The nappy’s made of very soft velour, with a microfleece inner, and a waterproof lining inside the pocket. There’s a pocket down the full length of the inside of the nappy, into which you slide the insert, which is made of a layer of hemp and one of microfibre.

What we love

These nappies look amazing, and come in a fantastic range of designs. Some call this the Rolls Royce of pocket nappies, and it really is gorgeous, but it comes at a Rolls Royce price, too!

It’s brilliant that they last from birth to potty training.

The boosters are made from hemp and microfibre, so you get a double whammy of absorbency.

What to watch out for

As with all one size nappies, you might have to wait a few weeks until your teeny newborn fills out enough to wear them.

Blueberries are prohibitively expensive - you can buy almost a whole pack of some other nappies for the price of one Blueberry!

I found that the inserts provided didn’t provide quite enough absorbency if you don’t want to change every two hours, and had to add a booster.

It’s also a shame that they’re not UK-made, as you’re upping your carbon footprint by buying nappies made and shipped from overseas.

These nappies are absolutely lovely, and a big hit with mums, but the price is a bit off-putting! If you do splash out, you won’t be disappointed as they wash really well, look great and are effective.
