Get comfy with the Cosatto Aurora Deluxe, a luxurious leatherette highchair that’s so comfortable your baby won’t want to get out. Not only is it relaxing and stylish but with an easy foldaway mechanism, simple height and recline adjustments and a double dishwasher-friendly tray, it’s a wise buy.
This plush deep red chair is sturdy, practical and comfortable, yet boasts vintage appeal that lasts. The seat itself is a real treat for babies who like to get cosy when eating, and the 3-position recline is a handy feature for those post-meal naps. Along with an easily adjustable height mechanism, a dishwasher safe tray and a 5-point safety harness, the Aurora Deluxe ticks all the right boxes. It even comes with a fun ‘pat mat’ to keep babies entertained while feeding.
A base tray fits discreetly under the seat and there’s a great clip on the back legs to store the feeding tray when not in use. It’s certainly a chair that works hard to make the most of its features.
What we love
As soon as I put my daughter Tippi in the Aurora Deluxe I knew I’d have trouble getting her out again. It’s so soft and comfortable she looked at home instantly. Complemented by the fun water-filled ‘pat mat’, mealtimes became a lot more fun. And the ‘pat mat’ is a lot easier to clean than the numerous toys I usually have to hand when feeding her.
Tippi likes to chew on the strap covers, and whilst I’m sure this isn’t what they’re meant for, they’re less hassle to remove and clean than dismantle the whole strap, which is white. The seat itself is very easy to wipe clean, which we have found crucial now self-feeding has begun.
Even though the chair is slightly bigger than others, Tippi looks very safe in it and its functional features are fantastic. It’s easy to fold away, the storage clip on the legs for the tray is extremely handy and the base tray neatly tucked away under the chair is convenient for storing all our cleaning essentials.
What to watch out for
The Aurora Deluxe is slightly bulky, and can put distance between you and your baby while feeding, and although it folds away a lot easier than some chairs it doesn’t fold as small. It wouldn’t be ideal for travel.
Also, the comfort could be its downfall for some. If your baby is a little tired this chair may not help to keep them alert, unless you engage them in the exciting ‘pat mat’ of course.
Who is the Cosatto Aurora Deluxe best for?
Parents who want practicality at mealtimes to come in as comfortable a package as possible.
An extremely comfortable highchair with a retro red look that’s almost timeless. The Cosatto Aurora Deluxe easily folds away and has all the practical features expected from a good highchair. It’s just slightly bigger than some other chairs and can induce sleep very quickly, which may not be a bad thing!
