The Cosatto i-spin Stroller is a trendy lightweight buggy designed for urban families. It lets your child to travel in comfort, making for a much more pleasant journey. Its most unique selling point is that it gives you the ability to hook up your MP3 player to speakers in the stroller’s hood, and pop your MP3 player or mobile phone into the pocket at the back near the handles. From audio stories to nursery rhymes to the latest tunes, whatever keeps your baby or toddler soothed or amused as you do the shopping/errands/school run!
What we love
What’s not to love about the Cosatto i-spin Stroller? We received the ‘24-7’ colourway, which is grey and lime green. The fabric is funky and hip while not being over the top. If you’re concerned about the brightness of the lime green colour, fear not as it’s mainly an accent colour. The interior of the canopy is lime green. You can also get ‘Smile’, a light grey and pink combo.
The small pocket on the back of the buggy canopy means you can store your MP3 player safely and pretty discretely. Simply plug in your MP3 player, adjust its volume and you’re off, rocking to whatever tunes you choose.
My daughter Ella seemed extremely comfortable and happy in the seat thanks to the adjustable leg rest. The seat is well padded and reclines smoothly and easily, too.
The storage basket at the bottom of the Cosatto i-spin Stroller is quite large and is also enclosed by the fabric on the buggy. You can access it through zips on either side of the Cosatto i-spin Stoller or through the front or rear of the buggy. It’s quite nice to know that your belongings are secure and easily accessible.
The handles of the Cosatto i-spin Stroller are nicely padded and quite comfortable. I was pushing Ella around the streets of London for a day and found that my hands never tired throughout a long day.
The Cosatto i-spin Stroller has lockable, swivel wheels on the front and the rear. A simple pull on a lever on the handle and the rear wheels will swivel so you can turn sharply in an instant. This feature is most handy when negotiating shops and tight corners.
It also has a quick-fold action and a built-in carry handle, though it is fairly long (109cm) when folded.
What to watch out for
While the Cosatto i-spin Stroller has the brilliant feature of the built-in speakers for your MP3 player, you won’t find state of the art sound quality coming out of the speakers. In order to check the volume of the speakers, I did have to stick my head inside the canopy so I didn’t blast out my daughter. This is not a problem but it may be a slight inconvenience. The sound is more than adequate, however, for entertaining even the crankiest toddler.
The only other feature that was somewhat disappointing was the harness. The straps easily become twisted around the waist so you’ll need to make periodic adjustments, but the shoulder straps have nice padding, which helps.
The length of the Cosatto i-spin Stroller is considerable so if you’ve got a small car boot, do double-check the size.
The price of the Cosatto i-spin Stroller is £200, which might be a bit high for some budgets. However, with the added feature of the built-in speakers, the price is well worth it.
Who is the Cosatto i-spin Stroller best for?
Urban families after a stylish stroller with entertainment capabilities.
The Cosatto i-spin Stroller is a lightweight buggy with an innovative feature that’ll make your shopping outings a pleasure. While it could be a touch long for some small car boots once folded, this stylish, comfy buggy with good shopping basket is a worthy choice for town and city parents.
