Surprising, considering how lightweight it feels in comparison to some other car seats.
What we love
The Graco Logico L X Comfort is probably one of the most well padded car seats I have come across, luxuriously fleshed out with Graco’s patented Graco-Pedic foam. The back- and headrests are also well padded, yet the covers are removable and machine washable. When I first felt how comfy the seat was, I figured there was no way it would go in a washing machine, but I was happily surprised. The comfy padding would be especially useful if you do a lot of longer journeys.
The lighter weight of the Graco Logico L X Comfort means it’s easy to swap between cars if your children get dropped off by you and then go in the childminder’s or a relative’s car.
The back fits easily onto the base, and can be removed when your child is old enough for a booster seat. The integrated seat belt guide in the headrest ensures the seatbelt is always in the correct position. This is very comforting for parents whose children have just graduated to this car seat category - like my Arron, 3½ - as it’s not the same as using a car seat’s own straps.
There’s also a special design feature to enthral kids of all ages – cup-holders! Arron was fascinated to discover that two cup-holders pull out from the base – just like the ones Mummy has in the front of the car. What a godsend, especially when you’re driving alone with your child a lot. No more cries that they’ve dropped their cup on the floor, or worrying about dribbles of milk or juice on the carpets.
What to watch out for
While the back and armrests are adjustable upwards, it’s not possible to adjust them widthways, which may be an issue if you have a chunkier or slimmer child. You might want to try it for size before committing. Also you’ll need a screwdriver to adjust the height of the armrests, too.
There’s no ISOFIX fitting, so this isn’t the seat for you if you insist on ISOFIX.

The Graco Logico L X Comfort is a very comfortable, adjustable car seat that combines excellent safety features with a light weight. A great mid-priced choice, but you may want to spend more for ISOFIX fittings or width adjustability.
