These wipes are tops for comfort, but they aren’t cheap.
A thick, moist wipe, Huggies Soft Skin Wipes with Shea butter are also super soft and freshly fragrant. They are kind to sensitive skin, and the fragrance is subtle.
If I’m honest, Huggies was a brand I’d previously avoided based on some vague, unsubstantiated reason and because I thought they'd be too pricey. My opinion changed quite dramatically when I tried the Huggies Soft Skin Wipes with Shea butter wipes.
What we love
As soon as I opened the pack, I was greeted with one of the thickest and softest wipes I’ve come across in the many brands I’ve used. Each wipe has a cute teddy print. They’re very moist and proved good at clearing anything from messy faces to the dirtiest of bottoms. They’re extremely kind and gentle to sensitive skin –my son Zac, 11 months, has desperately sensitive skin, so they’re a winner in my book.
The pack is re-sealable with a sticker and works reasonably well.
The fragrance of the Shea butter is really appealing, as it smells fresh but at the same time is very understated.
What to watch out for
The yellow and red pack with Shea butter (nature’s moisturiser) took me a couple of stores to find, and set me back a whopping £2.44 for 64 when I found it at Boots.
I was surprised how easily the wipes ripped. Being so thick I expected them to be equally robust, but I was disappointed on this score when I could rip one as easy as tearing a piece of paper.
They’re not the easiest to get out of the packet, and probably due to their thickness; I have found myself grabbing four or five wipes when one would really have done.
Who are Huggies Soft Skin Wipes with Shea butter best for?
No-expense-spared mums that rate kindness to skin as their top priority.
The softness and gentleness Huggies Soft Skin with Shea butter show towards sensitive skin is great. While these wipes are expensive, for some of us mum, you can’t put a price on kindness to easily aggravated skin.
