Their bagginess meant that they were the ideal cut for me at that stage.
Maternity jeans with an over the bump band aren't to everyone's liking. However, the Boyfriend Cut jeans come in a below the bump cut. JoJo Maman has disguised the soft inset jersey band with a classic jersey waistband so that they still look like a 'normal' pair of jeans.
What to watch out for
As with non-maternity jeans, certain styles suit certain body shapes. The same goes for maternity jeans, too. JoJo Maman Bebe's Boyfriend Cut jeans will not flatter all figures and might make certain women feel a little dumpy. However, as you get midway through your third trimester, this will truly be the last thing on your mind!
At the moment, these jeans unfortunately only come in one leg length - 30" – so they might not be suitable for petite or tall women.
Another criticism would be that the Boyfriend Cut jeans can't be tumble dried. This is fine in summer when you can hang your washing out on the line, but becomes a little more problematic during winter months.
