The double pram is available in 3 different colours – black, pearl grey and dusty rose – and offers a lot for its mid-market price tag of £899.
Key features include a carrycot which has been safety tested for overnight sleeping and can be used as a downstairs Moses basket or travel cot for nights away, as well as the ability to easily switch between a single or double buggy.
About our parent tester
Hannah, a journalist living in the suburbs of Manchester with her 2 boys aged 3 years and 4 months, tested the Mee-go Uno+ with both her children on trips to the shops, playground and on woodland walks as well as a trip into Manchester city centre on the tram.
She has more than 10 years’ experience working as a journalist and loves writing content that will help fellow parents.

What were your first impressions of the Uno+?
It looked easy to assemble when it came out of the box and I was also pleasantly surprised how compact it appeared. I was expecting a much larger chassis to be able to carry both the toddler seat and carry cot.
When we first put it together, it didn’t look like there was much space between the toddler seat and the carry cot, and I didn’t think my 3 year old would be too impressed staring at the back of the carry cot. However, he was quite happy to get in and there was more space than it first appeared.
How easy was it to build the Mee-go Uno+ double pushchair?
It probably took around 30 minutes all together and was straightforward, apart from adding the adaptor for the second seat. I needed my husband – and a bit of brute force – for that part!
There were a few fiddly bits, like zipping the lining inside the carry cot, that took us longer than we expected, and I couldn’t see any instructions for attaching the hood to the carrycot (but managed to work it out easily enough).
Thankfully switching between the baby and toddler seat is a very smooth process and makes sense once you’ve digested the instructions. The adaptor slides up and down the chassis to make room for a second seat, with just the touch of a button. Once we had worked out how to attach the adaptor to make it a double it all made sense.
If this is the latest version of a previous pushchair, how does it compare?
The Uno+ is the first double pushchair from Mee-go. It comes with a seat unit and carry cot, and can be used as a single or tandem double pushchair. However, it doesn't configure as a side-by-side pushchair; if that's what you're after, take a look at the well-priced Ickle Bubba Venus Double Stroller, from £329.
What do you think of the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair carrycot?
The carrycot looks stylish and I really liked the honeycomb embroidery and the colour. My 4 month old looked so cosy inside I nearly wanted to climb in myself! The mattress felt firm, breathable and has a soft bromide-free liner that helped add to a confident feeling my little one would be safe inside.
My favourite feature of the carrycot is that it can be folded down to reduce its size. This saved us so much room in the boot when we were visiting family as the carrycot is usually such a bulky item to pack. All we had to do was slide 2 buttons at the bottom of the cot and it collapsed down. I would guess we’ll be able to use it for another month and then I think my f4 month old will be too big for it.
Is the Mee-go Uno+ carrycot suitable for overnight sleeping?
Yes. I love that the carrycot is approved for overnight sleeping and can also be used as a Moses basket or travel cot. This would have saved us money and space in our house and the boot of our car before staying with family. When using the carrycot for overnight sleeping, there are two set-up options; it either rocks or you can fold out 4 small feet so it remains static.
The mattress can also be tilted to help babies with colic or a sniffly nose. This sounded like a really good idea but I didn’t end up using it as my baby didn’t look particularly comfortable. It elevated him higher than what I thought felt like a safe level so I decided to just keep him lying flat.

How easy is the carrycot to add on/take off the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair?
Very easy. The carrycot is lightweight at 4kg, and there’s a handle on the top of the hood which helped whenever I needed to move it. It slid onto the chassis with ease when I was battling the elements during one shopping trip.
What do you think of the toddler seat on the Mee-go Uno+pushchair?
My eldest boy is at top end of the range of youngsters who would use this pram and, as a result, was a bit too tall for the seat. There was however plenty of room for his legs and he loved getting cosy under the apron, which even had room for him to store some of his Duplo – an absolute must when you’re 3 and a half! If he had been a bit younger, the seat recline would have been ideal to aid a lunchtime snooze.
Once the adaptors had been attached, I found it really easy to slide the carry to to a higher position on the chassis and then add the toddler seat. As I mentioned before, I was a bit hesitant about how much my eldest son would enjoy sitting behind the carrycot, but he was very happy in the seat and had enough space to be comfortable.

What’s the hood like on the Mee-go Uno+?
The carrycot hood is a good size and added to the cosy feel, protecting my little one from the elements. It also has an extendable sunshade that folds back under the hood neatly when you don’t need it.
One slightly irritating thing with the toddler seat hood is that if my 3-year-old son wanted to sit up, then the hood couldn’t be fully extended as it was too close to the carrycot.

How well does the Mee-go Uno+ work as a tandem pushchair?
OK, but not great. For us, it was necessary to always have the carrycot on top and the toddler seat underneath. This meant I couldn’t see what my eldest son was up to without leaning around the carrycot to see him.
The other negative is the pram has a huge basket when it’s used as a single but once it’s a double it’s very difficult to add or retrieve items underneath the toddler seat and you’ve got nowhere near as much space.
Is it easy to fold the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair?
I had to find a video on Mee-go’s Facebook page to see how to fold it, as I couldn’t work it out from the instructions alone. Even then it took a few attempts from me and my husband to work it out.
Once I got the knack, I tried doing it one-handed but that was also very tricky and will perhaps take some practice. You have to press in one button on the handle while also sliding across another button and then keep pushing down until it starts to fold. It definitely wouldn’t be obvious to anybody how to do it without the instructions to hand.
Unfolding was a much smoother process, however, I did manage to unclip the adaptor for the second seat by mistake the first time I tried it!
How compact is the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair when folded?
I was really impressed by how neatly it folded down and was expecting a chassis for a double buggy to take up much more room in the boot of our Suzuki Vitara than it did. Once folded down tit measures L80cm x W63cm x H33cm, including the wheels, but it’s also easy to pop the wheels off if needed to squeeze into a smaller boot. the chassis weighs 9.1kg with the wheels, so it wasn’t too difficult getting it out of the boot.
If you're storing at home, the good news is that the Uno+ can self-stand, but only if the front wheels are locked otherwise it is very easy to knock over.

How easy is the Mee-go Uno+ to push and steer?
Pushing and steering one-handed was easy when I was just using the carrycot for my 4-month-old. When it was just my baby, we could easily steer around tight corners and even took on some muddy paths with no problems. But it was much tougher when I also had my 3-year-old in it and used it as a double buggy. I definitely couldn’t push it with one hand and had some difficulty where the pavement sloped to keep it in a straight line with both hands.
It also felt like a bit of a workout getting it up kerbs and through shop doors. I thought this was perhaps because my 3-year-old is at the top end of the scale for using the seat, so it perhaps would have been a lot easier to push with a younger toddler in the double buggy.
However, having checked the weight of comparable prams, the total weight of the Mee-go Uno+ is on the heavy side, coming in at 16.8kg in total (chassis, wheels, carrycot and toddler seat) whereas the total weight of fellow tandem buggy the iCandy Orange 4 is 12.3kg which is quite a big difference.

How well does the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair work on public transport?
It was a smooth journey boarding the tram and, on a quiet weekday morning, there was plenty of room for me.
I was lucky as my route didn’t involve having to lift the pram at all and it glided from the platform to the carriage. Due to the design, it doesn’t feel like you’re pushing something that is that much longer than a single pram so it didn’t feel like I was taking up too much space.

How do you rate the buggy handle?
The Mee-go Uno+ handle has 3 adjustable positions which are easy to change by holding a button on the handle. It was comfortable to hold, with a nice leather feel finish that didn’t feel cold to touch even on the frostiest of days.
What are the wheels like on the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair?
The tyres are made from PU and felt tough and durable. All the wheels are quick-release with a touch of a button and the front wheels can either be in swivel mode (which we used the majority of the time) or fixed to help you tackle more bumpy terrain. We found we didn’t need the second option as the swivel mode handled our woodland walks with no issues.
How good are the brakes?
The Mee-go Uno+ brakes are described as ‘flip-flop-friendly’ which was a term I hadn’t heard or needed to use before living in the north of England; I think it means you can use the sole of your foot (rather than the top) to put the brake on.
The brake itself is quite small and sits on the right-hand side. One slight niggle I had with it was that I kept getting the top of my trainer caught underneath the basket when I tried to take the brake off – something that's resulted in the bottom edge of the basket looking a bit muddy already.
How do you rate the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair basket?
The size of the basket is really impressive, but if you’re using the pushchair as a double it almost completely disappears. The toddler seat sits just above it, so it becomes impossible to throw items in or quickly retrieve them. There’s a small amount of room however if you want to store a few bits that you don’t need to be easily accessible.

What’s in the box?
- Chassis (including front and rear wheels)
- Carrycot and mattress
- Seat unit
- Seat apron
- Tandem adapters
- Raincover
- Insect net
- Cup holder
What is the packaging like for the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair?
All of the packaging felt essential and not excessive. It was mainly cardboard, apart from plastic bags around the wheels, carrycot and toddler seat, and some foam to protect the handle of the pram.
What are the repair options for the Mee-go Uno+ if it breaks?
The warranty for the chassis is 24 months, while the seat and carrycot fabrics and accessories have a 6-month warranty. If any repairs are needed, you must contact the original place of purchase first and then Mee-go will inspect the item.
Can the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair be used with a car seat to create a travel system?
Yes; it comes with car seat adapters which have been safety tested with ‘major car seat brands’. If you have twins, you’ve also got the option of attaching both car seats.
Now you’ve tested it, what would you have wanted to know before purchasing the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair?
I think not being able to fold it with one hand without some practice might have put me off beforehand. Plus, the brake could definitely be a bit easier to use.
Who would the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair be most useful for?
This pram is great for longevity if you’re planning on expanding your family soon after a newborn. For one price, you have everything you need to see you through the toddler and newborn stages.

Is the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair worth the money?
At £899, for the pushchair with carrycot and seat unit, think it's probably best to describe the price as competitive rather than budget. It's a stylish single pushchair, but its versatility as a double makes the price seem more reasonable. It also has the potential to save families a lot of money with the added benefits of using the carrycot as a Moses basket or travel cot.
Where can I buy the Mee-go Uno+ pushchair?
It is available from Amazon, Mee-go and Pramworld.
MadeForMums verdict
This is a good quality, stylish pram that could save families a lot of time and space thanks to the compact design and multi-use carrycot, suitable for overnight sleeping. I would recommend it if you’re planning on growing your family soon, however the basket space as a double and the inability to easily see your toddler past the carrycot may put some parents off.
