Miamoo's Cheeky Cream is a barrier cream with great packaging and natural ingredients to help mums feel confident they're keeping their babies safe.
The Miamoo range was developed by Saira Khan, runner up on The Apprentice and now presenter of BBC 1’s ‘Beat the Boss’. Made with natural ingredients including cocoa butter, almond oil, lavender, camomile, and orange and lime blossom water, all the products are completely free from many of the chemicals parents are now keen to avoid, such as parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, ammonium lauryl sulphate, PEGS or propylene glycol. Plus no synthetic colour or fragrance is used.
What we love
The Cheeky Cream, which comes in a tube, is a barrier cream featuring ingredients including sweet almond oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, rosemary extract, calendula extract and vitamin E. The blue and pink packaging is cute, modern and stylish. I like the fact that it comes in a tube rather than a pot because not only can you open it one-handed, you don't have the issue of fingers transferring from bottom to pot and back again. It smells natural, feels soft and smooth and rubs in easily. Not only was it soothing on 3-month-old Joe's bottom, I used it on some dry skin on the back of my hand and it improved almost instantly.
What to watch out for
It's more expensive than some other nappy creams brands on the market.
Who is Miamoo's Cheeky Cream best for?
Mums worried about chemicals in baby products and parents who have babies with eczema.
Although more expensive than some of the nappy creams you might be used to seeing on shelves, Miamoo's Cheeky Cream is a lovely product; natural, modern and effective. It soothes and rubs in with ease.
