The Baby K Stroller is a lightweight, umbrella-style buggy, which is styled in all black with a leopard print liner and accents. Ideal for commuters and families in search of an affordable, easily collapsible buggy, the Baby K Stroller will be a decent choice for many.
What we love
The Baby K Stroller is a very lightweight option, at just 6kg. It folds easily and is very compact when folded.
The hood of the Baby K Stroller is removable and has a zipped storage pocket at the back, which is very handy for mobile phones or small items.
The seat has a multi-recline feature that allows you to smoothly recline the seat to any level.
The Baby K Stroller comes with a raincover that co-ordinates with the leopard print seat liner. If animal print is your thing this season, you’ll be drawn to this look.
What to watch out for
The Baby K Stroller doesn’t have a very smooth ride. I found the wheels to be rather flimsy and it rattled considerably on varied terrain. This buggy is most definitely for urban terrain only and doesn’t fare well on bumpy surfaces.
The leopard print seat liner of the Baby K Stroller is pretty useless. It’s really only there for fashion purposes as it has no padding or material to hold it in place. It slides all over the place even when your child is sitting on it.
There is a 5-point harness, however the straps are rather loose and easily slip off the shoulder. It just didn’t feel very secure to me and I found my daughter sliding down in the seat.
The shopping basket of the Baby K Stroller is sufficient but is not easily accessible.
If you have a long stride or are taller, you may find yourself kicking the Baby K Stroller chassis as it’s designed to be a more upright stroller. This potential problem will be dependent on your leg stride and height.
The price of the Baby K Stroller is a bit high for what you’re getting. At £74.99, I’m not entirely convinced that this buggy offers good value for money.
Who is the Mothercare Baby K Stroller best for?
Leopard-loving urban families after an easy to fold buggy for city day trips.
The Baby K Stroller is a reasonably stylish, lightweight buggy that will suit urban-based families. The rather bumpy ride, flimsy harness and poorly constructed hood make this buggy a somewhat questionable investment, however.
