Mother's Day gifts that you'll genuinely want to receive, chosen by other UK mums
We asked UK mums what Mother's Day gifts they genuinely want this year to help you pick the perfect gift

This year in the UK, Mother's Day is on 30 March, meaning it's the time of year when sons and daughters rush to buy chocolates, flowers and cards — but is this what mums really want for Mother's Day?
We asked mums in our Top Testers Club what they really wanted this year for Mother's Day to help us create our list of good Mother's Day gifts. Whilst mum Joanne spoke for most when she told us all she really wants is "to have a lie in and wake up to a clean house!", other parents gave us plenty of suggestions for gifts they would love to wake up to on Mother's Day morning.
Research has shown that the most popular gifts for Mother's Day are cards, flowers and experiences — and you can find a selection of all of these below, but our picks have a special twist on these more traditional gifts.
The same research by the National Retail Federation found that 47% of gift purchasers are looking for a unique Mother's Day gift, so we've rounded up a great selection of one-of-a-kind Mother's Day gifts that will really add that special, personalised touch to your gift this year.

Mother’s Day 2025 gifts you’ll genuinely want, chosen by UK mums
1. LEGO Wildflower Bouquet, £54.99

Flowers are an essential Mother's Day gift, with mums Natasha, Fathima and Lorne all telling us they really appreciate a floral gift on Mother's Day. But this year, instead of purchasing some that will only last a week, we would recommend this brilliant LEGO Wildflower Bouquet. Mum Hannah immediately told us she would love "Lego!" for Mother's Day and this gorgeous flower set is a brilliant option.
With nearly 1000 pieces, the set provides an immersive building experience and can be displayed in so many creative ways once the flowers are constructed. It can also be combined with the Flower Bouquet (£54.99) to make an even more unique display.
Available from: LEGO, Very, Amazon, Hamleys
2. Personalised Fab Mum Photo Swivel Book, £20

Photo gifts are sure to be a hit for Mother's Day — they're a lovely way to remind mum of special memories and it's always nice to receive a personalised gift. Mum Sophie said she would really love "a framed photograph or a photo book. I'm absolutely rubbish at getting photographs framed so this would be fab."
If you're looking for something a bit different but with the same sentimental value, then we love this vibrant swivel photo book. You can customise the book with a personal message and there are space for 8 photos with text underneath. We love the unique factor here too, the swivel mechanism makes it a more interactive and distinct choice compared to a traditional photo book.

3. Personalised Handwritten Engraved Pot, from £32

Mum Bridget told us that she would love to receive "a house plant in a nice pot" this Mother's Day. As a gift that will remind mum how much she's loved and appreciated throughout the year, we think it's a great option.
We love this terracotta plant pot with its cute star and heart motifs. We're particularly a fan of the personalisation options that make it a perfect meaningful Mother's Day gift. Included in the price is the personalisation on the front, which can be amended as you wish. You can also choose to add an extra custom gift message on the back for £10. It's £3 extra for flower, herb or chilli seeds, plus you can add Eco Compost for £5.
Available from: Not on the High Street
4. LUSH Spa Tangled Hair Upper Body and Head Massage Experience, £46

When we asked mums what they really wanted for Mother's Day, a lot told us they would appreciate an experience rather than a product, especially one that would help them relax and unwind. When we asked mum Charlette, she immediately said "A massage!!!" and another mum Laura, agreed, telling us she would love "time out for a massage."
This massage treatment is perfect for treating mum to some relaxation and peace. The 25 minute treatment helps you to feel instantly at peace and relax your body and mind. You can either book it for Mother's Day on Sunday 30 March, or it can be saved for a time when it's perhaps more needed thanks to the voucher's 12 month validity. The voucher can be redeemed at 10 locations across the UK, including Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, London, Birmingham, Bath and more.

7. The White Company Organic Double Cotton Heart Print Pyjama Set, £85

We love practical presents, so pyjamas are always a winner for Mother's Day gifts. Parent Eleanor told us she would love "some PJ's or a dressing gown for Mother Day, I've been putting hints in already!"
This classic set from The White Company is a great option. The set has a pink heart print scattered all over and we love the simple ivory piping detail on the collar, cuffs and chest pocket. Plus, it's made from organic double cotton meaning it's super soft and cosy, but also lightweight, so perfect to wear on Mother's Day and beyond as we head into spring.

8. Brasserie Blanc Three Course Meal with Prosecco for Two, £86

Lots of mums this Mother's Day really just want a meal they don't have to cook themselves. Parent Caroline said she would really like "a lay-in, a homemade card and something nice to eat," Pooja said she would love "a meal I don't have to make" and mum Kathryn said "I'd just like to go for a meal." So this Mother's Day you can either treat mum by cooking her a meal at home, or if you're looking for something extra special (and you can get a babysitter), this three course meal voucher is a great, luxury choice.
Including three courses of delicious, authentic French cuisine and a glass of Prosecco selected to complement the flavours you'll enjoy, this really is a great Mother's Day experience she is sure to enjoy. 9. Pandora Engravable Heart Charm, from £35

Jewellery is a great go-to option for Mother's Day. Mum Naomi told us that she would love "a nice charm for her Pandora bracelet" and we've found a lovely option that has an extra-special sentimental detail.
Mum Catherine said she loves to receive "engraved jewellery" for Mother's Day, and this delicate sterling-silver charm can be personalised with a meaningful message, date or symbol for £10 - making it a great sentimental Mother's Day gift. You could add a child's date of birth or name, and there are lots of icons to choose from such as hearts and baby feet.

10. Mother's Day Three Reasons Wooden Hearts Keepsake Card, from £10

Undoubtedly the most popular gift mums said they would like to receive on Mother's Day is a heartfelt card. Mum Holly said she would really like "a card with special words! Thoughtfulness is key." So we love this personalised keepsake card that adds that extra-special touch to a Mother's Day card.
The premium card has a customisable pink text on the front, but what really stands out are the three delicate wooden hearts that you can personalise with a message that lets mum know what it is that makes her so special. Mum can then carry the hearts around wherever she goes and be reminded of this thoughtful gift.
