How comfortable is the Baby Door Bouncer?
Very, the highlight of this product has got to be the soft saddle with cute Minnie Mouse head and crinkle ears. I used the bouncer on my twin girls, aged nine months and they both loved it. The ergonomic design of the bouncer meant my children maintained good posture while bouncing, it is quite good exercise and fun too! When one of the girls was in there, the other cried until they were allowed in!
How easy was it to assemble?
The whole set is very easy to assemble and fuss-free, the hanger attaches the saddle to an adjustable belt and the main clamp that attaches the bouncer to the doorframe.
What did you have to look out for?
The Minnie Mouse bouncer is a pretty bouncer that you can use to place your baby in so they can have fun jumping and bouncing around on their own. However, there are a few safety instructions you need to follow though, such as never leaving the child unattended and never removing your baby from the bouncer while adjusting the height.
The baby’s feet also need to be able to touch the floor and you should only use the bouncer a few times a day for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time. All straps need to be tightened properly. Also the clamp only attaches to certain door frames, they have to be between 10-17cm thickness and have a permanent architrave with 1.5cm in thickness.
Is it good value for money?
The Minnie bouncer is fairly good value for money, retailing at £29.99. But you can only use it from when your baby can hold its head up unaided, until they weigh 12kg or can walk, so approximately 6 months in total.
Was it easy to store?
Yes! The bouncer is very easy to remove from the doorframe and put away to use again. Being lightweight and compact, it can also be handy if you are planning to take it on holiday.
MadeForMums verdict?
A nice little bouncer that keeps baby occupied for up to 20 minutes at a time and provides good exercise. However, you can’t leave the baby unattended and you need to follow safety instructions carefully. Definitely more fun than bouncing baby on your knee though!
