The Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single is definitely an all terrain 3-wheeler. It easily tackles the toughest of terrains with its pneumatic tyres and rear suspension. And while it’s definitely built for all-terrain, it handles urban terrain just as well, if not better. You almost feel like the pushchair is floating on clouds with the pneumatic tyres - a shopping trip with the Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single a very pleasant undertaking!
What we love
A friend of mine has the Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single pushchair and I have been eager to test one so my expectations were high when I finally got the opportunity. The Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 does not disappoint!
There’s a lot to love about the Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single. For starters, assembly is a doddle. An easy click of the wheels and a quick flip of the handle allow you to get going quickly. The seat reclines fully and has mesh ventilation panels on the back and sides, which makes it very climate controllable. The handle is padded with a thick foam layer so long walks seem like a stroll around the block. A pad for the seat can be added for extra comfort and warmth for your child and the 5-point harness is secure and sturdy.
We loved the storage pockets located all over the hood, which are fabulous for storing your mobile, a purse, toys or even nappies.
My daughter Ella, 16 months, was exceptionally comfortable and relaxed in the Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single - and I was the same while pushing it. I’d happily add this to our pushchair collection!
What to watch out for
The pneumatic tyres on the Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single are a welcome feature but as with most pneumatic tyres, they can easily pick up punctures and need re-inflating. A tyre pump doesn’t come standard, but is a separate accessory and a necessary one. You do not want to get caught out as we were on our maiden voyage. It’s easy enough to pump the tyres back up but it would also be advisable to purchase the separate accessory inner tube just in case of serious punctures.
You adjust the level of recline by tensioning the buckle and strap around the back of the seat, so whilst you can pick any level of recline, it is quite fiddly. It’s easy enough to recline fully with your child in the seat but to put it back up to full height or pick a mid-level recline, you’ll be adjusting for quite a while, which could be problematic with a sleeping child.
Who is the Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single best for?
Parents after a durable, comfy option that can tackle the great outdoors as well as the urban jungle.
The Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single is a brilliant all-terrain 3-wheeler buggy that will last from birth to age 4 and won’t disappoint you. It’s comfortable for your child and equally wonderful to push as a parent. You’ll have some maintenance issues as with any pushchair with pneumatic tyres, but provided you have a pump and/or puncture kit, which can easily be stowed in the handy storage pockets, you’ll quickly be back on track. The Out ‘n’ About Nipper 360 single is an excellent value for money and will last for years.
