Polar Gear make a range of well-priced, practical baby and toddler feeding accessories, such as booster seats, baby bottle insulators and warmers.
When you unfold the Polar Gear Go Anywhere Booster Seat, it just consists of a padded base a couple of inches thick, a thin backrest, and then three straps to attach it to any chair. Two straps go under the chair and one goes round the back, keeping it in place.
You can buy the Polar Gear Go Anywhere booster seat from JoJo Maman Bebe or Amazon.
Is it compact?
Yes, it is! The Polar Gear Go Anywhere Booster Seat folds down to a tiny, extremely lightweight bag about the size of a laptop bag – and about the weight of one without the laptop inside it.
It’s fantastic for keeping in the boot of the car for when you arrive somewhere without a highchair, and because it’s so lightweight it’s easy to carry round, too.
How do you use it?
The Polar Gear Go Anywhere booster seat has adjustable straps, which are long enough to stretch round any chair we’ve tried.
It’s really easy to use and really easy to fold back up again after we’ve used it, too.

Is it easy to clean?
Very. The Polar Gear Go Anywhere Booster Seat is wipe-clean, which means it’s easy to clean bits of food off before putting it away – essential with something I don’t use very often as I wouldn’t want bits of old food going off in it.
Is it comfortable for little ones?
It is, for older babies (at least 8 months old in my opinion) as the support isn’t brilliant until your baby can sit up properly.
Smaller babies could easily slip down the side of the chair, so it’s much better to use it on a chair with arms when your baby’s younger.
It's worth mentioning that you could never leave your baby alone in it, as he’d risk falling out the side.
Who is the Polar Gear Go Anywhere Booster Seat best for?
Mums and dads after a portable solution for meals out, who like the stylish laptop-look.
Although it’s not something you may use very often depending on your lifestyle, the Polar Gear Go Anywhere Booster Seat is fairly sturdy and well made.
It would last a long time even if you did use it daily. It’s brilliant value for money. However, it's better for older babies and you need to make sure you don’t leave your baby alone in it, in case he falls out.
