The Tommee Tippee Explora Active Sporty Cup is a simply designed cup with Tommee Tippee’s own Active-flo valve for easy drinking, and a soft spout.
The Tommee Tippee Active Sporty Cup is from the company that has been producing quality baby products for the past 50 years. The Active-flo valve is a clever innovation that makes it easy to drink from – your child won’t have to suck for all their life’s worth to get a sip – but also prevents leaks.
What we love
The Tommee Tippee Active Sporty Cup is easy to clean and features grips on one side to make it easy to hold, even in wet hands.
The spout is covered in a soft rubber-like material that makes it kind on the mouth and teeth. Arron says he really likes the soft spout, which is easy to drink out of.
It’s also pretty sturdy. It’s been thrown about outside, and although it’s got a few scuffs, it’s stood up well and hasn’t cracked.
There is no cover on the spout, but it’s leak-free. I tried shaking it (really hard!) to see if I could coax any drink out, and I had to do this incredibly vigorously to even get a drop to come out, so it should stay leak-free whatever your toddler’s up to!
Good news for mums – the Tommee Tippee Active Sporty Cup is BPA-free Bisphenol-A is a chemical found in plastic. Concerns have been raised about its ability to interfere with healthy growth and body function, because it mimics the effect of oestrogen in the body.
What to watch out for
The spout’s soft rubber-like material makes it rather tempting for toddlers to chew on – as my son Arron soon discovered. However, he’s been using it for a few weeks and it doesn’t seem to have suffered any ill effects from being chomped on, though it may do after a few months.
Who is Tommee Tippee Active Sport Cup best for?
