The WondaWedge folds down very small and is very lightweight, so it can be taken anywhere – picnic, festivals, beach. This portability is partially what makes it such a great buy - it's not just another product you use for nine months and then stick in the loft.
What we love
The WondaWedge comes in a great variety of colours – I particularly like the hot pink, very girly! It's pretty easy to inflate (by pump or mouth), which means you can use it for a while and then deflate and pack it away again. This is great if your house, like mine, is already full enough without another thing to clutter it up!
I suffer from back problems at the best of times, and these flared up again during my last pregnancy, as they have again this pregnancy (I’m five months). And I have to say the WondaWedge been great. The upright position provides loads of lower back support and was the best position for me. There is also a more reclined position, which would be ideal for sitting in bed or on a beach.
I think the WondaWedge will be great for the later stages of my pregnancy too, when I'm having trouble sleeping.
At £14.95, it's a great price, especially considering its versatility means as it can be used for years to come for all sorts of reasons, from heading to the beach to reading in the back garden.
What to watch out for
There aren’t really any big downsides to the WondaWedge. It can take your breath away if you inflate it with your mouth and lungs instead of a hand or foot pump. It's also not that easy to clean because of the soft suede-like finish, but depending on where you use it, it may not get that dirty.
The WondaWedge could see its name change to WickedWedge – just keep this in mind if you’re shopping for it!
Who is the WondaWedge best for?
Mums-to-be who suffer from back problems after a solution that can be used for years.
The WondaWedge is a decently priced buy that performs well. It’s portable, can be used in many different scenarios, and does offer back support, whether you’re pregnant or not.
