  • 1tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 Clove of garlic
    crushed
  • 1 Carrot
    cut into matchsticks
  • 100g Baby sweetcorn
    cut into quarters
  • 1 Courgette
    cut into matchsticks
  • 300g Beef fillet
    cut into very fine strips
  • 1tbsp Corn flour
  • 150ml Beef stock
  • 2tbsp Dark brown sugar
  • 2tbsp Soy sauce
  • A few drops of tabasco sauce
  • 1tbsp Sesame seeds

    Method

    • step 1

      Heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry the garlic, carrots, sweetcorn and courgette for 3 to 4 minutes.

    • step 2

      Add the beef strips and continue to stir-fry for about 4 to 5 minutes.

    • step 3

      Mix the cornflour together with a tablespoon of water and stir into the beef stock. Pour this slowly into the pan, together with the sugar, soy sauce, Tabasco and sesame seeds. Bring to the simmer, cook until slightly thickened and serve with rice.
