Every Thursday evening from 7.30pm - 9.30pm Manic Mums runs a variety of courses such as stress management, confidence building, flower arranging, Indian cookery, and creative writing. This dance based fitness programme will have you smiling while you exercise to great music! The basis is Latin and World inspired music and the steps are simple so everyone can join in. There's no right and wrong as long as you're moving and all classes are mixed ability so you can take it at your own pace and to your own level. 4. Yoga at Esporta

Yoga is one of the best forms of post natal exercises. The gentle and focused exercise restores the body back to a pre-baby form and function. The most widely taught form of yoga is Hatha, although Ashtanga and various other yoga styles are increasingly practiced throughout Esporta clubs.

Classes are held twice on Mondays, at 11.00am – 12.30pm, and 7.00pm – 8.30pm, Wednesdays 6.30pm – 7.30pm and Thursdays 10.30am – 11.30am.

As a member, you can attend any classes at Esporta, including the yoga classes. A Health and Fitness membership is between £71.00 and £53.00 (for off peak times) and this would include access to the yoga classes as well as many others.

5. Pilates, Gym, Beauty at SJ Fitness

At Sarah-Jane Fitness, there are two options for post-natal exercise. You can either take the post-natal Pilates course that's perfect for toning up your core muscles after having a baby. The other option is having full use of the gym on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 2:00pm-4:00pm for a pay-as-you-go fee. Both options need to be booked in advance, and you can take your baby along to both of these sessions.
