Choosing baby names is most common argument between parents
New poll reveals the top 10 things parents-to-be argue over
It seems picking the perfect name for baby is a point of contention for mums and dads up and down the country.
A survey of 1,236 first-time UK parents, conducted by MyVoucherCodes, revealed choosing baby's name caused the most arguments, followed closely by picking the right childcare.
Other hot topics included breastfeeding and learning to curb splashing the cash.
The top 10 baby-related topics parents argue about are:
1. Baby’s name
2.Childcare options
3. Partner’s diet (In regards to what’s best for baby)
4. Breastfeeding
5. Being too much
6. Knowing the sex of the baby
7. Going back to work
8. Spending
9. Having a second baby
10. Choice of baby clothes
“There is much to think about when expecting your first child that it can be difficult to agree on everything at first,” said Mark Pearson, Chairman of MyVoucherCodes.
“I am not surprised to see so many parents disagreeing on the choice of their baby’s name as it is something that will be with them for the rest of their life.”
We wonder if The Duchess of Cambridge, who announced yesterday she’s expecting her first child, will be fighting with William over their baby name choices?
