  1. Paint a paper plate yellow (or use a yellow paper plate if you have one)
  2. Cut out 2 long strips of orange card, then fold accordion-style
  3. Cut out 2 chick feet and a beak from the orange card
  4. Glue the chick feet to the bottom of the folded orange strips to create the chick's legs
  5. Attach the legs to the bottom of the paper plate
  6. Glue 2 googly eyes and the beak to the plate
  7. Add the feathers to the side of the plate to give your chick some fluffy wings

  5. Stick 2 googly eyes to the roll

How to blow and paint Easter eggs

  1. Poke a hole in the top and bottom of an egg with a pin or knife
  2. Gently insert a stick into the hole, applying pressure gradually to increase the hole a bit
  3. Hold the egg over a bowl, then blow into one of the holes and the egg contents should come out of the other end
  4. Rinse the egg to wash any excess yolk away
  5. Insert a cocktail stick into the bottom hole of the egg
  6. Paint the egg with a paintbrush or sponge (it may need a second coat)

  1. Cut out 4 strips of yellow card
  2. Gently fold the strips in half
  3. Apply glue to the middle of the paper strip
  4. Glue another paper strip on top of the first one to create a cross shape
  5. Glue on the two other strips diagonally to create a snowflake shape
  6. Apply glue to the end of a paper strip and glue it to the opposite end, to create a loop
  7. Repeat with all the other strips so you form a ball shape
  8. Cut two wings out of the yellow card and glue them to the sides of the ball
  9. Cut a beak out of orange card and glue it to the front of the ball

  1. Trace around your child's hand on a piece of card
  2. Cut the handprint out
  3. Fold the outer finger and thumb down to make arms
  4. Cut the central finger off, leaving two bunny ears sticking up
  5. Use felt-tip pens to draw on the face and ears
  6. You can then use glue dots to stick a wrapped chocolate egg to the bunnies' paws

11. Easter bunny sweetie jar

  1. Paint the lids and jars white, leaving a circle at the front of the jar unpainted
  2. Leave to dry completely then apply a second coat
  3. Once dry, draw faces on the front to make a bunny using the permanent marker pens
  4. Cut out bunny ears from the white and pink card and stick together
  5. Bend back a 1cm-wide flap of card at the base of each ear and glue to the jar lids
  6. Fill the jar with sweets or chocolates!

  1. Use the pencil to outline 2 rabbit ear shapes on the cardboard, then cut them out.
  2. Fold the grey felt in half to make a double layer, then place the cardboard ear shapes on the felt and cut around them, leaving 1cm around all the edges
  3. Place the cardboard ear shapes on the pink felt and cut around them, leaving no margin this time
  4. Cover the card ear shapes with glue and sandwich each one between 2 grey felt pieces, making sure to leave the bottom 1cm of the felt unstuck
  5. Stick each pink inner ear shape to 1 side of each reinforced grey felt ear
  6. Open out the bottom of the grey felt ears and coat the inside with glue
  7. Take the headband and stick the felt ears to it, first gluing down the back piece of felt, then folding the front piece back over it
  8. Leave to dry

  1. Plant some cress in a small flowerpot (following the instructions on the seed packet)
  2. Wrap some ribbon around the flowerpot
  3. Glue a small pompom on top of a large pompom (this is the bunny body and tail)
  4. Cut out feet from brown felt and toes from pink felt, then glue them together to make the bunny's feet
  5. Glue these onto the large pompom body
  6. Once the cress has grown, nestle the bunny into the pot
