  • 150g Salmon fillet
  • 1tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1tbsp Honey
  • ½tsp Fresh ginger
    finely grated
  • Wooden skewers

    Method

    • step 1

      Mix together the sesame seed oil, honey and ginger for the marinade and put in a shallow dish. Cut the salmon into 2cm cubes and put in the dish, spooning over the marinade. Leave for an hour, turning occasionally.

    • step 2

      Preheat the grill to high, and line the grill pan with foil. Thread the salmon cubes onto the wooden skewers and brush again with the marinade.

    • step 3

      Grill for about 5 mins each side, basting with the marinade. Remove salmon from skewers and serve with boiled basmati rice and steamed vegetables.

    • step 4

      • Soak the two wood skewers in water before threading on the salmon to stop them burning in the grill
      • For young children, take the salmon off the skewers before serving
