Red split lentil soup

- 400g Red split lentils
- 2 Medium-sized potatoes
- 1 Onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 500g Tomato passata
- 2 Vegetable stock cubes
- 6tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1tbsp Sugar
- Salt and pepper
- 1 ½l Water
- 500ml Soured cream
Method
step 1
Chop the potatoes in small pieces.
step 2
Boil the potatoes and lentils with the water and the vegetable stock for approx 15 min on low heat.
step 3
Add finely chopped onion and the rest of the ingredients and boil on low heat for another 20 minutes.
step 4
Taste and serve with the sour cream.
