Ingredients

  • 100g White fish fillet e.g. cod, plaice, haddock – or you could try salmon
  • 1 Large potato, peeled, cubed and boiled
  • 200ml Milk
  • 1 Knob of butter
  • 2tsp Frozen peas
  • 1 Pouch of Heinz Cook at Home Cheese Sauce or similar
  • 1tbsp Cheese, grated

Method

  • STEP 1

    Put the milk and butter in a pan and heat to boiling point, then reduce heat to a simmer.

  • STEP 2

    Put the fish in the milk and poach over a low heat, turning once. It should take only a few minutes to cook through.

  • STEP 3

    Remove the cooked fish, retaining the milk mixture and fl ake the fish, carefully removing all bones.

  • STEP 4

    Place the flaked fish into a small oven proof dish with the frozen peas and pour over the cheese sauce.

  • STEP 5

    Mash the potato, adding a little of the reserved milk and use to top the fish and cheese mixture. Sprinkle over the cheese and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
